David Baker

David Baker spent his entire adult life building a career in construction project management, growing to where he managed large-scale projects across multiple divisions. Throughout his career, he very often found that the accountants he worked with didn’t do a very good job of explaining where his businesses stood and how he could be better managing his bottom line to ensure the best taxation scenarios.

In 2001, David took an opportunity to return to school and obtain his degree. He began the arduous task of completing his degree in accounting, which he was able to complete in 2005. After completing his degree, David began working with a small local accounting firm, but by 2015 determined that it was time to hang his own shingle and bring his knowledge of accounting to his clients in a way that they could understand.

Upon opening Baker Business & Tax Solutions, David sought to ensure that his small and mid-sized business clients were getting the services they needed at a fair price. He has also worked to make sure that the services at BBTS are highly personalized and that clients leave the office with a full understanding of what was discussed.

At BBTS, we believe that every person should receive friendly, family-style personal attention from their accountant.

Meet The Rest Of The Team!

Kim Baker

Kim Baker has been a part of the BBTS team since its inception in June of 2015, focusing most of her time overseeing the office administration duties and marketing initiatives. Before joining BBTS, Kim worked for a marketing services company as an Account Manager. When away from work, Kim enjoys being a hobby photographer, her time with her family, and taking care of her 3 fur babies who frequent the office. Kim enjoys the family atmosphere provided here at BBTS and attempts to make sure that every client feels appreciated and part of the BBTS family.

Ashley Thomas

Ashley Thomas has been part of the BBTS team since its inception in June 2015. Ashley focuses her time at BBTS on managing our Payroll Processing department. Ashley has been working in accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and payroll for 16 years now but she found her strengths lie mostly in managing the BBTS Payroll Processing department. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, spending time with her two sons and husband, cooking, and playing fetch with her puppy dog Bentley. Family is very much a part of Ashley’s life as she works with her entire family here at BBTS. Ashley looks forward to providing every payroll client with the close personal attention they need, deserve, and would expect to receive from a family-focused payroll provider.

Eric Baker

Eric Baker joined the BBTS team in April of 2020, focusing his time on payroll processing and tax preparation. Before joining the BBTS team, Eric had a career in manufacturing and distribution operations management and project management. In his spare time, Eric enjoys working in his garden, tending his flock of backyard chickens, and going on hikes with his family of fur babies. Eric very much looks forward to providing every client at BBTS with the personal attention they’d receive from a family accountant.
